Wondering how you can get involved in Radio Teesdale. Here are 10 Ways.....
1. Become a member – fill out an application form. That way you will receive regular updates about the station and its activities. Membership forms are available on this web site.
2. Enrol on our next training course. It’s a 5 week “Introduction to Radio Skills” course starting on Tuesday 19th June. The course is being run by Teesdale Training (a part of Bishop Auckland College). Give us a ring on 01833 650 69 67 50 and we will pass on your details.
3. Listen to our Limited Service Broadcasts – currently on 105.5 FM in the Barnard Castle area. Stay tuned to find out about when we will be broadcasting live and from our second main transmitter in the upper dale.
4. Tell someone about our web site at www.radioteesdale.co.uk
5. Come along to one of our workshop sessions. The next one is at 6.30pm on Tuesday the 22nd May. We will be working on a Community Media Association Project about “Media Literacy.” Everyone is welcome to come along.
6. Come along to one of our regular members meetings. At the moment we are meeting each Tuesday evening from 7.00pm to 9.00pm
7. Spread the word….tell all your friends, family and colleagues about Radio Teesdale and how they can get involved and become members.
8. If you are a member of a community group then let the other group members know about Radio Teesdale. We can come along and talk to your whole group about how Radio Teesdale can work with you in the future.
9. Talk to us about the many and varied sponsorship opportunities.
10. Just get in touch – you can call us on 01833 69 67 50 and speak to Peter Dixon. Or email us at studio@radioteesdale.co.uk, or drop us a line or call in and see us at Radio Teesdale, Enterprise House, Harmire Enterprise Park, Barnard Castle, DL12 8XT.
We'd love to hear from you about any ideas you have.

Radio Teesdale on the Road
What a busy few weeks it has been! It was great to get out and meet members of the community at the first of our Radio Roadshow events. We were overwhelmed with the support we had from people at Staindrop, It shows that the people of Teesdale are really excited about the launch and are keen to ensure the radio station really reflects the local community. We would like to thank everyone who gave up their time to make the event such a success. Many businesses in local organisations came along with displays including Thorpe Farm Centre with their beautiful owl (see the photo gallery), Teesdale Glass Engravers, The Enterprise Agency, 2 D, Glendale Productions, Teesdale Training and Loopy Lisa Fudge.
